Sound Engineer
Louis Berdasco
Sound engineer and recordist working on-set and in editing bays to tell compelling stories through the powerful medium of audio.
About Me
With over 9 years in film audio, my expertise spans genres—dramatic narratives, campy slasher-horrors, and educational documentaries. I excel in crafting emotional soundscapes for narratives, spine-chilling experiences for horror, and engaging audio for educational documentary content. Versatile and dedicated, I consistently exceed expectations with my collaborators, contributing to immersive cinematic experiences for all audiences alike.
Field & Foley Recording
In my creative process, I employ the art of field and foley recording. This allows me to craft a sonic landscape that goes beyond the limitations of pre-existing sound libraries. By venturing into the real world to capture unique ambient sounds and meticulously creating custom audio, I bring a level of authenticity and detail to my projects that sound libraries simply can not replicate.
Dialogue & Sound Repair
Dialogue in film is one of-if not the most-important elements of telling your story through audio. Since there is so much that can get in the way of capturing crisp, clear dialogue, I have specialized in many tools that allow me to remove almost any unwanted audio from recordings.
Whether it's an airplane overhead or car horns and machinery in the background, There isn't a set of frequencies I haven't been able to remove or manipulate to clear the way for clean dialogue.
